At Beauty Worx Skin Studio we add relaxation to all of our Advanced Skin Treatments.  While your treatment is in progress you will be cocooned in our soft heated treatment bed with dimmed lights and tranquil salon music in the background.

Dr Spi-Cure Facial

​

During the Dr Spi-Cure treatment, one million spicules are gently infused into your skin along with a blend of 9 peptides, niacinamide, and Skin Derma Rejuven™. You may feel a mild prickly or tingling sensation, similar to very fine sand particles being massaged across the skin. This usually subsides quickly as your skin adjusts.

After the treatment, it’s normal for your skin to look flushed or pink, similar to a light sunburn. You may notice some tightness or mild sensitivity for 24–48 hours. In the days following, your skin may feel slightly rough or dry as cellular turnover accelerates. With the right aftercare — including hydration and daily SPF — your skin will soon feel firmer, smoother, and more youthful.

Peel-N-Glow Brightening Facial

​

During the Peel-N-Glow treatment, ultra-fine spicules blended with pearl powder extract are gently worked into your skin. You may feel a light prickly sensation, which fades as your skin absorbs the actives. The treatment also includes soothing masks and hydration to leave you comfortable and glowing.

Immediately afterwards, your skin may look slightly pink and feel tingly or tight for 24–48 hours. Within a few days, you’ll notice your skin becoming more refined and luminous, with pigmentation gradually softening. It’s important to avoid sun exposure, heat, and intense exercise for the first 48 hours, and to wear SPF daily.

Peel & Glow Congestion & Acne Facial

​

During your Peel & Glow Acne/ Congestion Facial, your therapist will work ultra-fine spicules into the skin to deeply exfoliate, unclog pores, and deliver targeted actives that reduce bacteria and inflammation. You may feel a tingling, prickly sensation while the spicules are being applied — this is normal and usually settles as your skin absorbs the treatment.

Post-treatment, mild redness or sensitivity may last 24–48 hours, similar to a light sunburn. Some clients experience slight dryness or flaking as congestion clears and skin renews. It’s important to avoid touching or picking at the skin during this time and to follow your therapist’s aftercare advice, including daily SPF and gentle hydration.

Post-treatment, it's normal to notice some redness and sensitivity, akin to a mild sunburn, but these effects usually subside within a few days. We recommend that you take time out to yourself after the treatment and avoid the sun, sweating, swimming and anything that is heat inducing.

During the days after your treatment your skin may start to feel a little dry and tight  most importantly it is important you wear SPF EVERYDAY! As we don't want to undo all the hard work your skin is doing!

 

In the following weeks, as your skin undergoes its natural healing process, you'll begin to observe a noticeable improvement in texture, tone, and overall appearance. With each session, the results become more pronounced, revealing a smoother, firmer, and more youthful complexion. Throughout this journey, our dedicated team will be with you every step of the way, providing guidance and support to ensure you achieve the best possible outcome.​
